Stained Glass Lotus Flower

This beautiful Lotus flower was created using the copper foil method of stained glass made popular by Tiffany. It measures 4.25in x 6in
Each flower starts out as a large sheet of glass. I then cut each individual petal to shape and grind the edges smooth. Copper foil is then applied around the edge of each piece and burnished. The lotus is then assembled on the workbench and soldered together.
Because of the type of glass used and the hand made nature of my work every item is unique, therefore some slight variations will occur.
Since opening my brick and mortar Studio almost 1year ago, I have been selling my pieces to customers here at the Studio. This particular lotus may have been sold, if so..
